Sanctuary Featured on The West Australian: "Demand High For New Development" | DevelopWise | Perth luxury apartment developer

Our development, Sanctuary Mount Pleasant was featured on The West Australian. Below is a direct transcript dated 23 March 2020 written by Penelope Thomas:

Perth apartment developer DevelopWise has sold more than 70 per cent of apartments at its new Sanctuary Mount Pleasant development, just months after the $40 million development was released.

Set to be completed by the end of next year, the eight-storey complex will contain 47 apartments, with a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom layouts available.

DevelopWise Managing Director John Woon said the Sanctuary had already received community praise for its design.

“Large spacious house-sized floor plans and quality craftsmanship was exactly what the market was looking for,” he said. “Couple that with a low-maintenance, lock-up-and-leave lifestyle close to shops, amenities and nestled by Mount Pleasant’s pristine riverside parklands – it came at little surprise our apartments sold so well.”

The building’s design is reminiscent of the curve of a bird’s wings – a feature Mr Woon said tied in nicely with the development’s location at 3-5 Wren Street.

Mercedes Construction – part of the Zorzi group – will build the new development, which has already been recognised as Perth’s Best-Selling Apartment Project of 2019 Q3, according to an Urbis report.

“This development is so unique, there is nothing quite like it on the market,” Mr Woon said.

“Enquiries have exceeded our expectations with many buyers eager to be among the lucky ones to secure a home here.”

According to Mr Woon, the new development will raise the bar for luxury apartment living.

“The Sanctuary offers a standout collection of apartments, which embrace the area’s appealing atmosphere. Every detail has been meticulously considered and planned,” he said.

With the demolition of the site’s prexisting homes now complete, DevelopWise want to remind other potential buyers that the free stamp duty offer will end once construction commences.

Prices are also expected to increase by two per cent due to popular demand and limited supply, representing a substantial financial saving for those who act before construction commences.

Sanctuary is NOW 70% SOLD after a surge of sales, meaning that over $30 Million worth of apartments have now been sold.

Sanctuary was also announced as Perth’s Best-Selling Apartment Project Q3 2019 by Urbis Report.
